Getting Started
Q:How do I add my cat?
From the Home tab you can create your cat's profile with name, breed, date of birth and a photo. You can register more than one cat.
Q:What are the activity rings?
Three daily goals: Play (30 min), Food (15 min) and Love (20 min). As you log activity, the rings fill up, just like your cat's daily care.
Q:What are the daily quests?
A rotation of 20 care tasks (play with the wand, brush, check ears and nails, refresh the water and more) that turn care into a fun habit.
Photos and Camera
Q:How does the ghost camera work?
When you take a photo, the app overlays your cat's previous photo as a translucent guide so you frame each shot the same way. This makes evolution comparisons perfect.
Q:Can I create comparisons and videos?
Yes. From the Gallery you can compare before and after with a slider, create shareable cards and export a video of your cat's evolution.
Health
Q:How do health alerts work?
When you log a symptom that repeats 2 or more times within 24 hours, the app shows an alert so you can act in time or consult your vet.
Q:Where do I store medications and medical documents?
In the Medicine Cabinet you can record medications and store medical documents (prescriptions, lab results) associated with each cat.
Data and Privacy
Q:Where is my data stored?
All of your cats' data (profiles, health, weight and photos) is stored locally on your device with SwiftData.
Q:How do I enable photo backup or iCloud?
From Settings you can enable photo backup (always or Wi-Fi only) and iCloud sync. Both are optional and off by default.
Q:Does the app show ads?
No. Tracker 9Lives does not display ads.
Subscription and Technical
Q:What does Premium include?
The Premium subscription is managed with RevenueCat and unlocks advanced app features. You can restore your purchases from Settings.
Q:Which devices are compatible?
iPhone with a recent version of iOS. The app is built with Swift and SwiftUI.
Q:Do I need internet?
Not for daily use: your data is stored locally. You only need a connection for the vet map, photo backup and iCloud sync.
